Senior Developer

Sitesimon is building a better way to discover content online. We believe we're solving a big, growing problem and are looking for smart, passionate people to join us.

We're a small team (5 people) working with interesting algorithm and machine learning challenges related to quickly processing and gaining insights from massive amounts of implicit user data. We're looking for a senior developer who can wear a few hats for a while (aka a strong generalist). You'd be a good fit if you've mastered or done at least a few of the following:

Write in clean and effective PHP and/or Python
Built large, scalable, real-time sites on custom software
Developed distributed algorithms and recommendation systems
Had to shard databases and are aware of their pain points and different solutions
Know how run code in parallel across a network effectively and reliably
Built a functional website that gets some real traffic
